Believe in Belize is an all volunteer, non-profit organization with the sole purpose of helping with the development of Belize. In particular, our goal is to: - Become a premier internet destination for anyone seeking information about Belize.
- Implement projects and services to help people in Belize.

2020 Projects & Services As might be expected, given the havoc caused by the COVID19 pandemic we received a lot of requests for help. With the support of our generous donors we were able to assist a number of communities with food, educational and animal support welfare needs. The list below provides a synopsis of what we accomplished. | Corozal Feeding Project. Phase 1 of this project provided 83 villagers (COVID19 patients, disabled elderly, and single mothers with health issues) with a two-week supply of food ingredients at a cost of US$1,000. We need to raise US$4,000 to help about 400 villagers. To learn more and/or to donate please click on this link COVID-19 Village Feeding Project for Corozal District. | | We helped the Rotary Club of Placencia by raising online about US$10,800 for their multi-phased relief program which supported 436 families. To learn more please click on this link Rotary Club of Placencia COVID-19 Village Relief Program for Southern Stann Creek. | | While Food was a critical need, we also supported the three adjacent educational needs. | We are now seeking donations for the 2021-2022 academic year | | While COVID19 is still commanding the majority of resources, we had an opportunity to support a computer for schools project slated for mid 2021 by purchasing the computers in 2020 (US$1,300) and receiving other donated items. Coming in 2021 For 2021 our highest priority will still be supporting COVID19 food distribution and raising funds for scholarships. However, we also have at least three other high impacts projects/services in the work as listed below. We invite you to click on the related links and learn about them. 2020 Financials Total donations for 2020 were US$21,584.05 whereas total expenses were US$18,898.42, of which only US$294 was for Operations (~1.4% of donations received), and the rest for Programs. The difference between our donations and expenses is mainly due to the fact that we received a donation for an endowment fund which cannot be used completely in the year donated.
