Corozal Tasting Contest

 

Will you be in Corozal in September 2023?  If so, then please attend the event below and help us raise funds for the scholarship fund.

 

Corozal's Better Than Best Ever Rum, Ribs and Rice Tasting Contest is a food and beverage gathering, who's sole financial purpose is to raise funds for local scholarships. The social aspect of the event is to gather all ethnicities in the district for a fun get together allowing each to taste the different fairs and appreciate our similarities and differences. 

 

All funds raised through attendance, monetary or raffle gift donations and sponsorships go to the scholarship fund managed by Ms. Zeide Vellos.

 

Ms. Vellos is the producer and director of the event.  She works with the community to get food and beverage providers, seek donations and raffle prizes, and sponsorships. She feels deeply this event should be an inclusive event encompassing all people here in Belize, through a human commonality, FOOD.
