Newsletter 2023 Issue 1
Welcome to our 2023-1 newsletter (link to previous issues).  We are delighted you decided to read it and welcome your feedback on how we can improve it.

As we begin 2023, I am reflecting on our progress since we started operations 5 years ago, and I wish to begin by saying thank you to all our supporters, volunteers and partners.

Believe In Belize (https://believeinbelize.org) is an all-volunteer non-profit dedicated to implementing projects and providing services in the country of Belize (https://believeinbelize.org/page/about-us).

Our three programs are Education, Health and Community Development. Our focus is on little actions that create large impacts for Belizeans and their communities. Together one step at a time we make a difference to enhance the lives of children and families living in Belize.

This newsletter will highlight our past accomplishments and will outline plans for the future. There is still much more work to be done and I hope you will help us by choosing to join us, become a donor, and/or a sponsor in 2023.

With gratitude,

Our minimum goal is to raise US $76,500 (see table below for high level breakdown) in 2023 through the following options:

Start your own Legacy Fund or donate to our Endowment Funds - https://believeinbelize.org/sitepage/endowment-funds

$10,000 – Basic school supplies for 1,000 kids.
Too often, families cannot afford $10 in school supplies and end up not sending the kid to school.
$10,000 – 100 Refurbished Laptops for Village Community Centers.
Too often kids do not have access to computers after school for their assignments / continued learning. These computers will serve 500-2,000 kids.  These computers will also enable us to launch online tutoring for kids and online training for adults.
    $6,500 – Partial cost of sending a 40’ Container.
Numerous communities benefit from educational, health and community supplies and equipment donated in the US.
$20,000 or 20-person microbusiness training and grants.

$30,000 for a number of projects and services per the table above.

Together we can accomplish our goals!
