There are about 200 villages in Belize. Their emergency health services typically consist of waiting for an emergency service provider to arrive and take a person to a regional clinic/hospital or just drive that person there. This time delay is detrimental to the person's health. This multiphase, multiyear service aims to provide some basic and consistent standard of care throughout the villages.
